MAN v FAT Soccer’s latest league gets started in early October, with the weight loss program coming to the iconic Wall Street in Manhattan.
Christian Perkaset is the man who has been given the role of supporting our latest MAN v FAT Soccer players and he’s excited to get started as our latest Health & Wellbeing Coach.
We caught up with Christian to find out how he intends to make Wall Street our latest success story.
Tell us a bit about you?
I’m a NYC Native Born and raised originally from The Bronx.
I’m a lifelong practitioner of physical, mental, and spiritual evolution. Since childhood, I have practiced martial arts for self-defense, tournaments, and a deep appreciation of the science behind combat. Through his journey in various martial arts, I gained insights into the differences between theoretical knowledge and practical application in real-life scenarios.
After excelling in corporate finance and high-end retail, I enlisted in the United States Army as a weapons mechanic. During my time in service, I supervised special populations of soldiers, helping them meet the physical demands of military life. Following my term in the Army and graduating from the University of Texas, I trained in dance, powerlifting, CrossFit, bodybuilding, rehabilitation, and mixed martial arts.
In 2022, I trained under Jay Cutler, gaining invaluable experience, knowledge, and wisdom from the four-time Mr. Olympia champion. My mission is to teach clients digestible science through accessible education, enabling them to achieve their goals in a healthy, holistic, and sustainable way.
What was it that appealed to you about MAN v FAT and supporting the men of Manhattan?
Once I was introduced and witnessed it in person, I knew instantly that I wanted to be a coach. It’s an organic community where men can feel comfortable as a tribe to help one another grow with the same goal in mind in the healthiest way. All while having fun and developing bonds that can grow into something special.

How do you describe your coaching and wellbeing style and how much of what you learned whilst in the military do you think will be helpful to our guys?
My coaching depends on the person and how they receive information, for everyone isn’t receptive to just one style of communication, however; I’m straight up and honest in the most polite way possible.
I have gained weight several times in my life and lost it again. So I can relate especially since I was never the skinny guy and love food. So my empathy is real and relatable but belief in self with sustainable structure is the real key to success in losing and keeping the weight off.
I would like to build a fun and competitive space for Wall Street. One of Gains, Goals and Good Times. Hopefully enough to give LIC some competition, that group is surely aspirational and have set the bar super high in a fun and organic way.
